A little bit about
TLC Yoga and Mindfulness
I am a yoga teacher and mindfulness teacher - both practices help bring awareness to the body and the mind. Both practices help us develop strength and focus, flexibility and balance - these qualities support us physically, emotionally and mentally. I teach hatha yoga, based on the work of Vanda Scaravelli ("Awakening the Spine"), who explored the relationship between gravity, the breath and the spine. Classes are tailored for the individual, to meet your needs and ability. Mindfulness training can be one-off sessions, or a series of sessions to cover the eight-week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction course (MBSR), which has been shown to reduce stress and anxiety, improve stress-related health conditions, and lift mood.
