After seeing positive results by strengthening the core to improve posture and reduce back pain, I decided to become a Pilates instructor. Pilates is also a great way to build overall body strength and mobility within the body which will improve cardiovascular exercise and weight-training. I emphasise the importance of control, stability and balance whilst aiming to build core strength and mobilise the joints.
I've been a huge fan of HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) for several years due to the fact that it's time efficient and a great fat-burning workout, not only during but also after. It's fun, varied and can take place anywhere with no equipment necessary.
