I turned professional in 1993 where I was assistant at the Normandy Golf Range.I became fully qualified in 1996 and won a prestigious Titleist National Scholarship by finishing 9th in the UK and 3rd in Scotland at the Belfrys PGA National Academy.I then moved to Brucefields Golf Centre as Teaching Professional under SGLA and golf monthly coach Kevin Craggs.I returned to the Normandy Golf Range as Head Professional where I undertook all coaching initiatives at the well-known Normandy Academy. This included a weekly teaching column with Gazette Group Newspapers as well as running coaching programs at De Vere Cameron House Hotel on Loch Lomond. Always looking to enhance my knowledge of the game I spend time with European Tour Coach Denis Pugh and the world renowned David Leadbetter which helped me form my long term teaching philosophies.
